Jim Garzione

Partner & Accounts Director

By deepening client relationships, many clients have asked us to provide ongoing marketing support long after the brand launch.

As partner at Moiré, Jim is involved in Moiré's business development efforts. He prides himself in staying connected with his clients by remaining a part of the day-to-day process. His wealth of knowledge and vast experience in working with Fortune 500 companies, associations and higher ed organizations helps guide clients' strategy and reach their goals and objectives.

Jim brings the wisdom of his 25 years of experience in the business to mentor both clients and staff on the power of strategic design to transform businesses and motivate customers.

Prior to joining Moiré, Jim founded Thinkdesign + Communications, a full-service graphic design firm, that specialized in marketing communications for higher education, technology, associations and non-profits. Jim received his BA in Visual Communications from George Mason University.

Hockey, golf and poker are his passion but only one these hobbies has ever turned a profit.

Jeff Roberts

Partner & Creative Director

As Partner and Creative Director of Moiré Marketing Partners, Jeff Roberts believes that marketing communications should be consistent, engaging, and highly functional – regardless of the medium. With over 25 years of experience in marketing communications, branding and client focused design, Jeff brings extensive leadership to Moiré’s multi-leveled creative marketing services.

As the Creative Director at Moiré, Jeff focuses on service, creation and design vision. His vast range of interests, abilities and experiences benefit Moiré’s partners and employees alike by ensuing every deliverable meets the highest creative standards and executes the strategy necessary to achieve the client’s goals.

Before launching Moiré, Jeff served as Design Director at Washington Post’s Post-Newsweek and the Senior Art Director at McMurry/TMG (now Manifest Digital). His design and art direction has earned him several Webby Awards and numerous recognitions, including the Gold Ozzie Award for Excellence in Design. Jeff also received design awards from PRINT magazine, Art Directors Club, HOW, American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).

Jeff is an active member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) and the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).

New Business Director

Moiré Marketing Partners, a strategic branding and design agency, seeks an experienced business development professional to lead the firm’s marketing and growth initiatives.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will oversee the success and growth of existing accounts and identifies new companies and/or organizations that can benefit from our services. This person will be a passionate self-starter, detail-orientated, and flexible. Industry contacts are a major plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify business development opportunities and manage the process from concept to delivery.
  • Plan, supervise and participate in events on behalf of the firm, such as trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Research and analyze markets and conduct competitive intelligence.
  • Meet mutually agreed-upon sales quotas and targets.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years business development experience.
  • 4 years experience in an agency environment.
  • Solid understanding of creative, branding and digital marketing and be able to "speak the language."
  • Proven track record of success.
  • Takes an ownership approach to projects.
  • Articulate, organized, and detailed.
  • Self-starter, motivated, ambitious and driven.
  • Experience writing proposals and sales materials.
  • Experience in Higher Ed, Associations or Professional Services a plus
