GW’s Milken Institute School of Public Health: Eyes on Public Health 2018 Progress Report
It was a great year for George Washington University's School of Public Health, and the 2018 Progress Report reflects that. Moire’s bold custom die-cut cover and photo collages challenge the reader to take a closer look at headline-grabbing issues, such as the effect of current immigration policies on the future of public health, the important role Milken Institute SPH researchers played in saving lives in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria and how public health can play a role in climate lawsuits. To help these efforts and many more, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation awarded nearly $10 million in first-of-their-kind grants to two Milken Institute SPH researchers, who will use the support to address global public health concerns. The end result is a highly visual and unique 66-page report.
